David Dickinson has had a long career in the fields of counseling, business consultation and research. He is currently a founding partner of In Your Home. Established in 2003, In Your Home is an innovative company created to help seniors deal with the demands that their changing lifestyle and ability places on their homes. In Your Home offers assessments and planning services, sensitive home modification and remodeling services and on-going maintenance programs. Their focus is on attractive, affordable modifications that make a senior’s home a safe, secure and pleasing environment and on regular maintenance to retain the home’s value and livability.

David is also a professional educator and lecturer who receives high marks for the quality of his presentations and his engaging delivery style. His presentations on these topics are informative and engaging. David encourages audience interaction to ensure the content addresses their interests.

David is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), has earned his executive certification in home modifications from USC’s Ethel Percy Andrus Gerontology Center; is a member of the National Aging-In-Place Council and the American Society on Aging. He graduated in 1978 from Amherst College with a BA, cum laude, in Sociology.
